Sandra Bullock named People’s ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’

Naf magazine magazine has named Sandra Bullock as the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” for 2015.
The 50-year-old actress, who voices a supervillain in the upcoming movie “Minions,” tops the magazine’s list, announced Wednesday.
Commenting on being selected for this year’s cover, Bullock says she just laughed when she heard about the honor. “No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous,'” she tells the magazine. “I’ve told no one.”
Despite her long roster of accomplishments, the role that Bullock cherishes the most is being a mom to her 5-year-old son, Louis.
“Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that,'” she told the magazine. “No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

The show of the new Avengers film say pages of the script had to be shredded every day on set to stop details of the new movie leaking.

Speaking at the Age of Ultron UK premiere, Elizabeth Olsen, who plays new character Scarlet Witch, said security was strict to prevent hacks.
Paul Bettany, who evolves from voicing Jarvis to becoming The Vision, said the script was never emailed to him.
Bettany told Newsbeat it was posted “with a security guard”.
He said it had “a name all over every page so I couldn’t tweet it… it had to be delivered into my hands”.

A contemplation of Cohenites?: Leonard's fans look for a label

Leonard's fans look for a label

Global fans of Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen are having fun on Facebook trying to come up with a collective name for themselves.

The burst of fandom for the 80-year old performer of “Suzanne”, “Sisters of Mercy” and “Bird on the Wire” followed a posting noting that Joni Mitchell, another celebrated Canadian musician, once called herself a “stone (committed) Cohenite”.

Now Cohen’s official page is asking what a collective noun for such people should be – as in a pride of lions, a gaggle of geese and so on.

Early suggestions have included a leonard, a contemplation, a melancholy, a Cohenista and a fedora.

Others later suggested a sigh, referencing Cohen’s wry view on life, a Coherence and a suit. The fedora and suit proposals recall the performer’s dapper onstage presence.

“A halleluiah” is also on the list, in homage to his most famous song, estimated to have been sung by almost 200 artists and the subject of at least one documentary and a book.

Cohen released a new album “Can’t Forget” in May, the 25th listed on his website, which also mentions 12 books, much of them poetry.

Although best known for his songs, Cohen has also won a number of literary prizes, including a Princess of Asturias Award along with the likes of novelists Guenter Grass, Doris Lessing and Philip Roth.
